Have you ever just wanted to vanish?
Just suddenly up and disappear
Escape from your secrets and shame
Not have to face the ones you hold dear

Feel like you shouldn’t be around?
Feel there is no point to you anymore?
Feel your ruining the happiness of others?
Wish the world was something you could ignore?

Well that’s just not how it works in life
And it is folly to wish that it did
Where would you be if we all vanished?
Would you survive if we all hid?

Your always wanted by someone
There are even those that care for me
I guess there’s no accounting for taste
But I am starting to see as they see

So I suck it up and carry on with it
I mean what use is just disappearing?
There must be a point to travelling this road
And it’s a hell of a lot of fun with me steering
